Dr. Sudderth is a retired, board-certified general surgeon, former bariatric surgeon, and one of the first physicians in Mississippi to become board certified in Obesity Medicine. He has received advanced training in hormone replacement therapy and bioidentical hormone pellet therapy, bringing more than two decades of specialized experience to his work.

In 2012, he co-author the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure’s comprehensive weight loss regulations governing bariatric medicine and received a national award from the Obesity Medicine Association for his work. His contributions to obesity treatment have been recognized by the Mississippi House of Representatives and the Mississippi Senate. He authored the scientific article, “Mississippi, America’s Most Obese State: How Can We Salvage Her Future?” for the Mississippi Medical Association Journal and has been invited as an expert guest on SuperTalk Mississippi to discuss obesity and treatment. Dr Sudderth serves as a national expert at the federal and state level in obesity case work, trains licensed provider and corporate associates on comprehensive hormone replacement therapy.

With over 26 years of management and leadership, Lisa Sudderth is a powerhouse in development, community engagement, and has been the Clinic Administrator for Premier Medical Weight Loss of Mississippi and Mississippi Hormone Therapy for 17 years. Lisa has worked to co-author regulations in the Mississippi governing weight loss treatment, has won a national award with the Society of Bariatric Medicine (Obesity Medical Association) for her work in Mississippi, and assisted with both with the DEA and DOJ national case work in the field of obesity medicine in Mississippi, Texas, and Georgia. Lisa has also trained with national leaders in BHRT and hormone replacement therapy since 2016. She is a life-member of Junior Auxiliary, past President of the West Mississippi Medical Alliance, past committee chair of the American Medical Association fundraising initiative for medical residents in Mississippi, recipient of the Dr. Hill award for Mississippi State Medical Association M

As Clinic Operations Manager, Nancy Davis is a familiar and welcoming face to many of our patients and an integral part of the personalized experience we strive to provide each day. Nancy leads our Patient Care Team at both Ridgeland and Vicksburg clinic locations, ensuring that every detail of our daily operations reflects our commitment to attentive, patient-centered care. Working closely with our medical providers, patient care team and our patients, Nancy helps coordinate each step of the patient experience—from the moment they walk through our doors through their ongoing care. Her warmth, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional service help create the seamless, highly personalized experience that sets our practice apart.
